In the historic premises of Talkotten in Luleå, a team of experienced restaurateurs took over with the vision of creating something the city was missing. That’s how the concept Aiko was born—a restaurant and bar inspired by Nikkei cuisine.

I was asked to create the logo, layout for printed materials, patterns, brand illustrations, color palette, artwork for the restaurant, and wall murals.

Both Japanese and South American culture are areas I feel confident working with, so it was an absolute joy to be part of this concept especially with such a talented team and the incredible artistic freedom I was given.
