A Little Studio Reset

For the past few weeks, I've been struggling to find my focus. It happens every now and then. My brain is all over the place, jumping between ideas, projects and things I should probably have finished yesterday.

Over my 40-something years on this planet, I've picked up a few tricks to get myself back on track. To-do lists, little routines and all sorts of focus hacks. But sometimes, none of them seem to work.

So I figured it was time for a good old studio clean-out!

I spent some time reorganizing my workspace, sorting through the storage room, moving things around and getting rid of stuff I no longer need. Nothing revolutionary, but sometimes a little physical order helps clear up the mental mess.

I also have plans to build myself a new standing drawing desk. The drawings are ready, all the wood has been bought, and now I just need to find the time to actually build the damn thing. One step at a time, I guess!

And you know what? It actually feels a little lighter in here now. Both in the studio and in my head.

And as a little bonus, I found some forgotten treasures!

While digging through boxes and piles of old work, I rediscovered a bunch of original paintings and illustrations that have been hiding away for far too long.

I've started adding them to my webshop, hoping they'll find some lovely new homes instead of spending another few years in a dusty drawer. There are still a few more waiting to be photographed and uploaded, so keep an eye out!

Anyway, the studio is looking better, my head feels a bit clearer, and I'm ready to get back to making stuff.

Sometimes you just need to clean up a little to get things moving again.

Back to work!
